The UV Chemist will be responsible for performing analyses on products and materials and supporting the R&D lab. Will help develop new products and processes as well as perform necessary chemical testing.
Qualifications:
- BS/MS Chemist
- 5+ years of experience formulating UV Wood coatings
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently
Shall develop and validate analytical methods in support of product development and various formulations such as aerosols, parenteral, oral, topical, and transdermal dosage forms.
Required Experience:
*** HPLC, GC, FTIR, LC-MS, DSC, etc.
*** Degradation studies to identify impurities
*** Biomolecular characterization such as size exclusion chromatography, electrophoresis, isoelectric focusing, total protein assays, ELISA, enzyme activity assays, and secondary structure evaluations
